Best h/h team for Deldrimor Bowl Vanq
I'm a Ranger [duh] having trouble with Deldrimor Bowl vanq. It's those stupid centaur monks always removing their daze I could use backfire with Gwen but there's always another monk healing the first monk >.>. Any ideas for heroes/henchman builds and what I should run? Thaaankss if you want to help with the vanq iGN: Am Fah Barrager

just a tip for your bar if you don't already have it: ebon vanguard sniper support....can take out one of the monks in one hit - might get lucky on first hit, otherwise i just used a standard sabway setup and brought BHA, D-Shot, Savage, EVAS, PI, LR, EVSS, Needling....henches were cynn, devona....in retrospect though, bringing GDW in place of PI or EVAS for devona would have come in handy for the pretty consistent kd's on the healers

Simply don't use BHA lol.
Use high dmg spike builds with conjure/asuran scan etc to take out single targets fast

Just checked wiki, they have good condition removal but there seem to be a total absense of hex removal skills on foes there. Also 3 of 5 skills are enchantments, other two are condition removals.
So Just bring some good anti-caster hexes, and punish enchantment use:
Pain of Disenchantment .. removes an enchantment and do adjacent AE dmg.
Well of the Profane .. requires a corpse but will totally shut down all enchantments.
Maybe:
Scourge Enchantment + Scourge Healing
That will target the healers double up.
Here's some good hexes against healers lacking hex removal:
Lingering Curse
Malign Intervention
Soul Bind
Soul Leech
Spiteful Spirit
Spoil Victor

Best shutdown, when faced with condition removal & strong heals is knockdowns. I recommend slotting in a fevered dreams mesmer with arcane conundrum, a couple of interrupts & Mirror of Disenchantment or similar skills. If I remember the area correctly, the healers use Purge Conditions, which is single target. Fevered Dreams plays havoc with 'em...just make sure you micro it on one of the monks. Give Gwen a caster spear with the silencing prefix if necessary. They cant remove daze which is reapplied every now and then.
Also, spike 'em down hard. If you get the hang of micro'ing the mesmer & focusfire, they go down easy. If all else fails, go R/W & Earth Shaker 'em. I might get lol'd at for being "baed", but in this particular situation, it works.

They also use Mend Ailment, but as they lack any hex removal.. Fevered Dreams is definitely an option to simply overwhelm them. Or just forget conditions and hit them with hexes.

deldrimor bowl vanquish
hello
when i did it for my title, i play a ranger, i went splinter barrager , i beleive, also had ebon vanguard assasin support, distracting shot, and savage shot, also had jagged bones necro from the sab way line, powerblock mesmer with plenty of interupts, a healers boon monk, henchies were : ele, mesmer, and cant remmember last hench/ make sure you got a longbow for pulling, flags heros properly at least a aggro bubble behind and pull them out far out, make sure your call your targets so you lock all your heroes and henchies on same target. also would not hurt to have a few dp removals with you just incase of dp., hopes that helps.

I used a Prep shot turret with asura scan as my build, 3 discord heroes (The curses nec had modifications to add a couple of healing skills), my friend as splinter barrage, and a guildie as RoJ.

Enchant removal. Stripped MoP pretty much ruins dolyak healers, if you still can't take two down with them healing each other, bring more damage. And yeah, Glass Asuran>BHA
EDIT: Sorry was thinking of ice floe since it's round xP

I went for a very odd team, and had the following:
Me with WoH hybrid
Olias Jagged Minion Bomber
Zenmai Critscythe
Xandra Splinter Smiter
Stefan
The last slot is empty because I was doing the Vanquish for someone who was mostly afk. Xandra maintained Strength of Honor on the two physicals as well as using Splinter Weapon, and I micro'd Judge's Insight for more damage and Scourge Healing for destroying the Monks who have no hex removal if I remember. Olias didn't end up helping that much, so if you want to use my setup, I suggest adding in another critscythe in his place, and subbing out Stefan for healer types since you're a Ranger. Go for a nice spike oriented build and you're set.
If you want the specific builds, I can look them up for you if you want to PM me.
